*saying salut from upon & down below. here it is. for the grüss gott magazine spring into summer 2026 edition of archdiocese linz i went up to the heavenly skies. who reigns the kingdom of heaven. ‘on earth as it is in heaven’. this might be in & out of the view of feathery birds flying through all aspects of dizzy heights without forgetting about the roots which keep me earthed. this heaven as i found it is not monomorphic. it was a delight to grapple with all the symbolism & metaphors through the research process. as always i came across the principle of the mirror. composition wise i sticked with a triangulum – columns & circles keeping the manifold fragments of the storyline together. you will spot the trinity by maerten de vos & philip galle as central figures & also compiled in a botanic language as trifolium. speaking about all in threes godfather, jesus & the holy spirit represented in the figuration of the dove. i do not know who is living in etage 77 by all means, i imagine the top floor – a mind wise heaven – appearing as a moment resting in clouds. one breath in peace with the pure feeling of altruism. ‘tempvs veritatem prodvcens.‘ it needs a primrose to solve this enigma, the answer can be found in the dissembled crowning of mary. sometimes the side stories are the key facts. if this queen & kingdom is ruled there are rising & fallen angles with columns & hands holding lights to keep it together. if there are elections majority might have voted for love. so qvi es in coelis. repetitive, yet as pure intent – i adore nature, every petal & little stone tells a million tales. walking through the days – not knowing how this soul of pure ravishing beauty came into all living forms found in the woods, waters, meadows. sometimes it takes morphos out of the blue to discover the pearl of everything & anything interconnected. maybe belle appears in a dedicated way of reflection. so if on earth the eternal empire is a kaleidoscope in iridescent colors with crocus, oxalis, fern, & forget-me-not, a playground for souls where all caterpillars metamorphosed to butterflies & one flap of a wing might change our view on life. beside de vos i worked with raffael, rubens, auguste rodin & many more of the well known & not forgotten masters. a mil rose petals & mercis for this beautiful commission. i am thankful for this beautiful project. as always thank you matti wulfes, tino liebmann & the whole team for a lovely collaboration & your trust. ‘in flowers i trust™.’ ♥︎
